Problem for last two days having to do w only my computer and myspace.?

For some reason i can't log into myspace. I put in the correct name and password but when i hit enter or login it just brings me back to the login page.

At first i thought it was the site but my friends said they weren't having a problem. I then thought it was my account but i gave my little cousin my password and she got in fine.

I've tried putting myspace in my 'allow' section for pop ups and deleting all temps, cookies, histories, and so on. I turned off both the windows and norton walls. I've also ran ad-aware and spybot search %26amp; destroy.

Its only w myspace, i can log into all other things like yahoo just fine.

It happens on both Explorer and Foxfire.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Did you do what I suggested previously?

1 Go to tools on IE 7, select Internet options, click on the DELETE button next to SETTINGS, delete all files, cookies, history, delete forms and passwords... Close the message box now by clicking on the red X button upper right... Then Click OK on the next message box below at the bottom....

If that doesn't help, create another Myspace account and try log in... If it works, then your password for your Myspace has been hacked or changed.

Also, check with your parents if they have configured Parental Control on your computer.

Scan for viruses, spywares to ensure that your computer is not infected.

Your security settings are too high possibly. Click tools, internet options and security to medium. If it is set to medium now, lower it temporarely and try logging in again. If that works for you, move it back up and try again.

Turn your firewalls back on though!!!!

Myspace has alot of tecnical difficulties. It does it to me and my friends all the time. Don't stress over it. Eventually you will be able to get on. Make sure you turn on you firewall. There are wayyyy to many virus' out there.

MYSPACE: Can't Search for Name by Zip Code?

Whenever I do a Search by Name it'll find everyone with that name, but if I try to narrow it down by putting a Zip Code in and searching within so many miles it always gives me a error regardless of the name or distance, even when searching for my own name.

Anyone have a solution to this? I've tried many different names, different zip codes and different distances but everytime I get a error

if you get the "We weren't able to find a "(Whatever the name is)" error message it either means that the person isn't on myspace, they live farther than whatever miles you put, they don't use their real name on myspace, they don't use thier last name on myspace or any combination of these.

If it's none of these then myspace has issues again.

this happened to me...except for the myspace thing...people are going to really ask you if you like him, and all you can do is just say "yea i do" they've liked someone before, trust me...so y r u any different...just think of the end of the day when no one will ask u anything, and u'll survive...it only lasts about 3 to 4 days at most. but dont worry, its happend to the other peopole to.

Just act casual about this. Be like, "Yeah so I want to be friends with you... If you think I'm weird, then what about the million of other wierdos that people form bonds with that they don't even know on myspace" Laugh and then continue, "I actually know you, so I thought it would be cool. If you're not cool with that, it's fine. There are many more fishes in this sea, and I really don't care if you don't think nice of me..."

Also about the name part, I'm a little befuddled. Did you send it with the name of his sister? If so, then again act CASUAL, and just shrug it off. For example, "I'm sorry if I used your name, but first of all I don't want those psychotic stalkers tracing me down. Also, your name is pretty cool, mine just doesn't have that spice." If it was someone else just say the same thing. Don't stress otherwise there will be a mess.

After talking with a few people, letting things settle down for a while. Give it time. Then you may start calmly, and smoothly start talking to your crush again. First start it slow, asking about class assignments. Once your a little closer just joke one day randomly, be like, "My name is ______ (whatever name you used), remember?" Then laugh.

Well I wish you the best of luck with this sudden crisis. You and I now have a very similar bond with the computer and the internet. We LOVE it, and yet we HATE it at the same time. I remember when I lost this one story that I had written about 40 or more pages of, and one day my laptop went all wild on me, and I lost it.... forever. In addition, the same thing happened to me with the internet, except it was with e-mail. But need not to worry I got everything fixed by STAYING calm....
